Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Insure the compliance of host families and au pairs with all program policies and
regulations.
• Provide ongoing program support to local host families and au pairs throughout the
program year.
• Assisted by the Regional Program Manager, recommend and implement local marketing
strategies to recruit host families
• Conduct in-person interviews with prospective host families and provide new host family
orientations.
• Conduct regular monthly communications with assigned host families (telephone and/or
email).
• Maintain regular communications with TIAPE headquarters office.
• Keep regular records of communications with host families and au pairs.
• Organize, plan, and conduct a regular monthly function for assigned local au pairs.
• Organize, plan, and conduct two annual local host family day events.
• If requested, assist with the mediation of issues or disagreements between a host family
and au pair.
• Assist TIAPE headquarters with local au pair/host family reassignments.
• Act as local emergency contact for assigned local host families and au pairs.
• Report any unusual or serious situations or incidents involving either an assigned au pair
or host family, including any incidents involving or alleging a crime of moral turpitude or
violence.

Requirements:
• U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
• Access to a personal vehicle
• Access to a home work space with telephone, computer, and high-speed internet
• Familiarity with email and software applications like Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage and work a flexible part-time work schedule
• Open to the possibility of occasional early evening and weekend work
• Ability to work independently and report to a Regional Program Manager
• Strong customer service skills
• Some knowledge or previous experience with childcare
• Ability to provide support for up to 15 host families and au pairs year-round
Compensation:
Compensation per month is paid to each LEC based on the number of au pairs and host families
supervised (each LEC may supervise on a part time basis a maximum of 15 au pairs and host families). In addition
to this compensation, each LEC is compensated for conducting an in-home interview and
interview report for each new host family applicant assigned in their local area. Bonus
compensation is also available to each LEC for referring a host family that successfully
completes the application process and hosts an au pair.
